Collin County Animal Shelter in McKinney have two cute pups in the shelter now, found around the Hillcrest area. Dogs like this usually aren’t just strays, and they usually belong to families that don’t know where to look for them, b/c they have received no lost reports at CCAS for them yet.
CCAS has this one listed as a Cocker Spaniel mix adult male, possible mixed with Pekingese. He was brought into CCAS, found 2/13 at Hillcrest, south of College Pkwy, but crossing Hillcrest. The finder stated she put signs up around Hillcrest and she posted an ad in the Frisco Online lost/found pets forum.

Secondly, a Frisco resident brought this Maltese/Poodle mix into CCAS yesterday 2/15. She was also found 2/12 on Amber Valley, near Hillcrest. I have posted her in Frisco Online as well. No lost report for her yet.

CCAS is NOT a no-kill shelter and do euthanize when the shelter becomes full. They have many dogs that come into CCAS from Frisco that never get redeemed. People assume to look at Frisco Animal Services, but what they don’t realize, is that FAS feeds into CCAS . Dog and/or cat actually gets taken to CCAS in McKinney, and I don’t know that Frisco residents realize that. They rarely ever get lost/found reports shared with us from FAS if there are any submitted there. CCAS would like to reunite these pets with their original families.
Thanks in advance for your help,
